Maximizing Your Happiness: Five Steps for Living Your Best Life Every Day

Living our best life every day is not just a wish—it's a blazing desire that pulses uniquely within each of us. The definition of the "Best Life" may differ for each individual, but the yearning to embrace our very best every single day beats in all our hearts. Ready to turn that desire into reality? Here are 5 vibrant practices to light up your path to the Best Life You Desire!

1. What Next?

At the intersection of life's disappointments, ask yourself, "What Next?"

"What if’ I had done that course"

"What If I had taken that decision"

"What if’ I had said yes to that offer"

These thoughts are disempowering and unproductive.  Most times, these thoughts are rooted in the inability to put disappointment in perspective.

Trying to avoid feeling disappointed is pointless, disappointment is part and parcel of being human – it reflects your real passions. Don’t resist it – instead, embrace it. Understand it, then channel it to create more in life.

While navigating life's twists and turns, it feels like standing at a crossroads and you can appraoch it with two distinct mindsets: the "What If" or the "What Next.

The "What If" mindset, a natural response, is a place where questions linger without offering much in the way of progress.

Now, imagine a shift in perspective, a powerful pivot towards the "What Next" mindset. Here, a compass needle points you towards growth and resilience, it will guide you to a more resourceful life path. By harnessing the lessons, you can propel forward with newfound strength and wisdom.

Moving from a What if mentality to a What Next mentality  is all about putting disappointment in perspective. So, as you stand at the intersection of life's disappointments, ask yourself, "What Next?"

2. Follow A Growth Plan

Does your personal growth plan that take you higher daily?

In the Map of Consciousness, there are 17 levels of consciousness – from the raw edges of Shame to the radiant illumination of Enlightenment. Each level shapes your experience, and the higher you climb, the richer your life becomes. Achieving higher consciousness comes from your commitment to personal growth. Do you desire to design a personal growth plan that takes you higher daily?

Consider Tony, a woman who is professionally successful, spiritually attuned, her circle of friends expansive, yet she discovered a critical missing piece—her physical health. It was a wake-up call that brought to light the essence of living your best life. Despite the triumphs in other realms, neglecting even one facet hindered the fullness of her experience.

Therefore living your best life necessitates a holistic approach—think of it as a symphony where every instrument plays a crucial role. Whether you're aiming for success, abundance, spiritual awareness, or a thriving social life, neglecting any aspect creates a discordant note in the orchestra of your life.

So follow a growth plan that will help you grow in all areas of life.

3. Tick Item in Your Bucket List

Let your list be a celebration of your quirks, passion and wildest dreams

I know it sounds silly, but a bucket list is a powerful motivator to live your best life. What is a bucket list? A bucket list is a number of experiences or achievements that a person hopes to have or accomplish during their lifetime. According to the Stanford Bucket list Project, these  six are the most common  themes in a bucket list.

  1. Desire to travel (78.5% of participants)

  2. Desire to accomplish a personal goal (78.3%)

  3. Desire to achieve specific life milestones (51%)

  4. Desire to spend quality time with friends and family (16.7%)

  5. Desire to achieve financial stability (16.1%)

  6. Desire to do a daring activity (15%)

So basically the purpose of a bucket list is to constantly nudge you towards epic adventures and soul-nourishing experiences. It's not just a checklist; it's your cheerleader, whispering in your ear, 'Go on, make it happen!'

The list is not about right or wrong; it's about what sets your soul ablaze. As long as the items on the list are meaningful to you and sparks a fire in your belly, whether it's soaring on a hot air balloon or mastering the art of making the perfect omelette, it deserves a prime spot on your list.

So, toss aside the notion of conformity, and let your list be a celebration of your quirks, passion and wildest dreams.  Here are some bucket list categories to help you get started.

  • World Festivals & Events

  • Art & Literature

So don't shy away from something, because you think it is difficult or fearful, if it inspires you, put it on the list and explore it before you reject it.

Don't fret about fitting every amazing thing in there; this isn't about impressing anyone; it's about embracing what lights up your soul. If an idea whispers to your heart, and brings meaning to you. Put it on the list.
